Water Ball Ripple Sink Makes Me Want to Tinkle [Design]

If we were handy enough to build our own sinks, we’d build one exactly like this “The Ripple” faucet, designed by Smith Newnam, which equates relative ball movement to the temperature and amount of water flowing out. Hot water makes the LED glow red, while cold makes it glow blue, and the two hot and cold channels mix together in the open air to make for your desired temperature. Awesome? Definitely. Practical? Sony to Ship iPhone-Compatible Alarm Clock

Over in Accessoryville, Sony has apparently created a new version of its ICF-C1iP iPod alarm clock. The new model, known as the C1iPMK2 (gotta love those catchy names) is designed to specifically support the iPhone, as well as iPod Shuffles and non-Apple players via a line-in jack. SOny has stated that the unit can simultaneously charge the iPhone, features an adjustable “backstop” to secure the handset and also sports a bundled remote with which to control the iPhone.
